Birthday Wish List

Note: Date changed to 22nd December! NOT 29th Dec! 'Coz my colleagues told me that celebrating after the date is unlucky!

I'm having my birthday party on Saturday, 22nd Dec. If you know where I live, you're invited. If you're reading this you probably do. If you don't know where I live, just ask. :P

I guess some may feel it's narcissistic to have a wish list, but I'm a big fan. It saves your time looking for a present, as well as your money if you happen to get something I'll never use. So here goes, roughly in increasing order of budget.

Ang paos (ie. red packets, preferably not empty :P) are always a winner.

Earrings. Bracelets and anklets work too.

09/12 Edit: Don't really need name card holders anymore, found exactly the one I was looking for in Hong Kong.. :)

Books and book vouchers. I read pretty much anything, but trend towards fantasy, sci-fi and thrillers.

FFXI gil. I'm not above virtual gifts. :P

Food vouchers. I love to eat. Feed me!

Bags. Big or small, any colour but preferably not boring black.

Laptop bag. For 15" notebook.

Hair Mechanics vouchers. Don't know if they have vouchers, but would be nice.

Wii games. Super Mario Galaxy, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, Rayman Raving Rabbids 2.

Camera. Sony DSC-W80, in pink of course.

A kitten. But my mom would kill you.

Honda Jazz. Yes please.

Please DO NOT give me stuffed toys. My mom makes me throw them away every year.

Baby day

Morning: Niece's Christmas Paegent
As anything with a swarm of kids goes, noisy. But quite entertaining nevertheless. My niece is in the youngest cohort, and they were supposed to be singing along with the older children in the choir. But you know kids la. She mostly just around looking cute. :P I really commend those teachers and organizers who had the patience to work with such a large number of children. I could never have the patience!

Afternoon: Lousia and Family
Time really flies by.. I can still remember attending her wedding, it seems like only awhile ago. But turns out she has a baby already, 4 months old! He's so cute.. Such chubby cheeks!

Evening: Don Don's Birthday Party
Don Don is 1 year old.. And already has another brother due in January! Busy busy mommy and daddy.. :P Don Don is pretty big for a 1 year old, almost as big as my 2 year old niece! Looks a lot like his dad. The BBQ was atypical in the sense that we actually had a chef and separate courses! Unlike the usual where we just toss everything onto the grill and hope it doesn't become too chao tar to eat. He made a BBQ'd capsicum salad, salt baked prawns with butter and lemon sauce, fish, squid and steak! Plus there was yummy mee siam, curry puffs and of course.. The famous roast pork! Went home early 'coz I was so so exhausted..

Class gathering

Had a primary school class gathering at Marina Square's Kenny Rogers.. It's so strange seeing everyone all grown up. Has it really been 11 whole years already?!
