What break?

While most other uni students were having a 1 or 2 week "study" break, I've been going to school from like 8 or 9am to about 5pm everyday, 6 days for 1 unit and 4 days for another..

Well, it's finally over! Time to continue with my 1 day a week school. ;P So shacked after the practical marathon. And yet still waking up early again for yum cha tomorrow.. I'm a sucker for good food!

Food tour

Sure, Sydney ain't no Singapore, but I guess you can still find some good food if you look hard enough. :)

Francis and Xiaohui came down from Melbourne.. After looking at the Opera House and the Sydney Habour Bridge we more or less covered the sight seeing in Sydney. :P So the food tour began..

Pies from Harry's Cafe de Wheels! Plus a huge hotdog.

Pancakes on the Rocks! 24 h breakfast ftw.

Next morning, Dragon Star Seafood Restaurant at Market City for yumcha. Yum! The uberest egg tarts ever.

Went downstairs to Paddy's Market to grab some macadamia nuts.

Emperor puffs from the Emperor's Garden bakery. Hot! But utterly delicious.

Y2K for chilli fish balls. So spicy!

Japanese food for dinner at Ramen Ka. Had some cold noodles with chicken thing, very unique taste. Nice!

Next day, Sydney Fish Market! Four of us shared 2 big platters of all the different seafood, plus some additional sashimi, oysters and prawn fritters. Cheese lobster is heaven.

Hurricane's Grill at Bondi Beach for dinner. The best ribs I have tasted ever. The lamb ones were nice too, but the pork was uber.

Passionflower for dessert. Black seasame ice cream is supposed to be their speciality!

Sigh.. Best eating I've had in awhile.. Belt went up 1 notch. :P

Yellow Bellied Glider

Woke up at 0615 today to go to the zoo for my Australasian Mammals unit.. Had to do some observational study similar to the one I did last semester for Animal Behavior.

Unfortunately, the Yellow Bellied Gliders that I wanted to look at were just transferred into their new enclosure the day before, so they were rather shy! I waited for almost two hours for them to come out of their cosy boxes while everyone else was busy taking down data. I finally decided to go observe something else.

The best part was, after I finished the observational study of the other animal, the Yellow Bellied Gliders decided to come out to play.. m(_ _)m

Uh oh..

I realised that I'm like 1 month behind on the lectures for my Conservation unit. And there's a seminar the week after the next, and I haven't even chosen my paper yet..

Mid sem test

I was so relieved that I actually knew most of the answers for today's Invetebrate test.. I'd only started studying the day before, and not much also.. Hehe. :P But alot of the stuff I've learnt before in Ecology and Animal Behavior last semester.. So it was sort of cheating. I'm quite happy, should do reasonably well! ^^

Went to Macquarie Centre for lunch after that.. Ice Age 2 is showing now! Was tempted to watch, but decided to wait till Tuesdays when it's cheaper. :)

I'm so sleepy now. Why? 'Coz at 8am in the morning, some MORON was listening to the news at MAX volume. What the hell?! I was so freaking pissed that I got up and screamed, "SHUT THE FUCK UP" at the top of my voice. He turned it down marginly after that. Bloody ass. I felt like throwing rotten eggs into his balcony. 'Cept that they weren't rotten.. And I like eggs. m(_ _)m
