Hail!

An update coming to you from a little LAN shop in Epping.. I couldn't stand it any longer.. Internet withdrawal syndromes coming on strong.. And I was about to OD on Sims 2..

Anyways. When I stepped back into the dusty old apartment, there was a note left on the floor dated sometime in December. It requested that I give the new owner of the place a call ASAP, but since that was about 2 months ago, I ignored it.

BIG MISTAKE.

We went out looking for a new place since we thought we'd have to move out when the lease ended. I hate walking. And walk we did. Alot. And concluded that they were too far away. Ended up applying for a unit in the next block. The irony! Gah..

Well so there's a application fee we had to pay to the real estate agents. Now remember the note to call the new owner ASAP? Ya, well.. It was 'coz he wants to rent the place to us, but not through the agent. So we didn't have to move at all. Unfortunately, I only discovered this AFTER we paid the application fee..

Poof. Bye bye $325. *cry* Don't even get me started on what I could have bought with that money.

Oh well. Prolly be getting my internet connection up and running at home sometime next week. It COULD have been up 2 days ago, except that I stupidly cancelled the phone line when we left in December. Don't ask, just look it up in the archives please. So we had to reapply for the internet again, 'coz it's a different number. :(

On the bright side, gonna yum cha with Shanki, Nissa, Tangy and Yang tomorrow! Kekeke!
