Charlie & The Chocolate Factory

FINALLY got to watch it. It was out in Singapore like.. what? 2 months ago? Bah.. Anyway, it was pretty good, quirky and quite random. I liked it. I won't say much 'coz to most of you it's already old news. :P

The tic price went up.. Up 'till recently it was AUD$5.50 on Tuesdays, which wasn't so bad. Now it's up to $7.50. On other days it's $13.50 for students and $16.50 for adults I think. Crazy right?!

And then there's the popcorn.. The SMALLEST combo (ie. small popcorn + small coke) is $8.50. In Singapore that's like S$12.. Breakfast, lunch and dinner? I won't even talk about the large combo.

The seating is really stupid too.. You just buy a tic and sit anywhere you want. This results in everyone leaving seats between the next person. What a waste of space! The only good part is that those idiotic people who come in late have to sit right up in front of the screen.

A couple of shows I'm looking forward to are Narnia and X-Men 3. Until then, I think I'll just stick to DVDs from EzyVid.
